I am delighted to be doing some lovely events this weekend.

One is in Inverness, for Lapidus, the organisation dedicated to the link between health and literature. It is a training event for the use of the new Bibliotherapy Toolkit, called Words Work Well. I'll be focusing on reading poetry as a therapeutic and creative practice.

The other is a woodlands event at Ardtornish House in Argyll (see picture), where I am to be the 'bard', reading poetry at certain key moments in the proceedings. It's a lovely place to go to and the line-up of speakers and participants is a roll call of people moving and shaking in the woods in Scotland. I can't wait!
