A-B-Tree is going well

Mandy is busy with the A-B-Tree project, celebrating the ancient link between words and the woods as part of the International Year of Forests. So far she has led creative writing events in the woods with three primary schools, with primary and secondary children from Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles, with mental health service users, with a group of writers and with members of the public. These events have all been in the Highlands, plus one on Skye, and they have been fun, thought-provoking and have triggered some splendid new writing.

Today Mandy sets off to the rest of Scotland, and there is an exciting schedule of A-B-Tree events in Lanarkshire, Perthshire, Fife, Inverness-shire, Moray, Argyll, Edinburgh, Borders and finishing south of Stranraer on 31 October.  The full programme is here. Come along to an event near you!
