Trees Meet Sea goes to Dundee

The exhibition of 14 artworks paired with my poems will be re-locating from Inverewe Garden to Dundee Botanic Garden. Its six week show in the Sawyer Gallery at Inverewe will end on Tuesday 31 May, and we'll pack it into a van and drive it down to Dundee, to install it in a lovely space in the Botanic Garden ready to launch at a public event at 5pm on Wednesday 1 June. All welcome! Directions at this link.

There's a nice piece about it in the Dundee Courier and feedback has been really positive so far about the exhibition, which includes art by Helen Denerley (this lovely otter), Lotte Glob, James Hawkins, Peter White, Jan Kilpatrick, Chris Goodman, Lynn Bennet-Mackenze, Ann Coomber, Dorje Khandro Dawid, Fergus Stewart, David Sandum, Kathy Sutherland and Bill Ritchie. The mixture of metal, textile, wood, ceramics, paint, video and natural materials adds a whole new textural dimension to my poetry and I'm very excited by the result. I hope that you'll get a chance to see it in Dundee if you missed it at Inverewe.

There is a pamphlet to accompany the exhibition which includes all the poems and images of their accompanying artworks, so if you want a souvenir or can't get to see it but would like to enjoy it anyway, you can buy a signed copy from my shop here.
