Nature's Colours

Mandy has a big story in the latest (June 2011) issue of The Knitter magazine. It is about women who dye wool, either using natural materials or taking their inspiration for colours from the natural world. It is based on interviews with Helen Lockhart, whose Ripplescrafts yarns are full of the colours of Assynt; Eva Lambert, of Shilasdair Yarns, at Waternish on Skye;  the Woolshed on Orkney; and for an English angle, the Natural Dye Studio in Suffolk.
